Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how I work with clients on portfolio, website, product design, and development projects. By approving a proposal, paying an invoice, or asking me to begin work, you agree to these terms.

Effective: 27 August 2026

01 Services and scope

The project scope, deliverables, schedule, price, and included revisions will be defined in a written proposal, estimate, invoice, or other agreed project brief. Requests outside that agreed scope may require a revised schedule and additional fees.

02 Client responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate requirements, content, access, approvals, and feedback within the agreed timeframes. Delays caused by missing materials, changed requirements, late feedback, third-party services, or circumstances outside my reasonable control may extend the delivery date.

03 Payments

Payment amounts and milestones will be stated in the project agreement. Deposits reserve project time and work may pause when an invoice is overdue. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final files, launch access, or ownership transfer may be withheld until all due amounts are paid.

04 Revisions and acceptance

The number of included revision rounds will be stated in the project scope. Additional or substantially changed requests may be quoted separately. Deliverables are considered accepted when you approve them in writing, publish or use them, or do not report a material issue within seven days of delivery.

05 Refund terms

Payments are generally non-refundable because project time is reserved and work is performed specifically for you. A partial refund may be considered only when I fail to deliver by the agreed deadline and the delay is directly attributable to me, despite you providing the requirements, content, access, approvals, and feedback needed on time. The refund amount will be fair and proportionate to the undelivered portion of the agreed work. No refund applies to completed or accepted work, change-of-mind cancellations, scope changes, client-caused delays, third-party failures, or events outside my reasonable control.

06 Intellectual property

After full payment, you receive the rights described in the project agreement for the final approved deliverables. Unless otherwise agreed, I retain ownership of unused concepts, working files, methods, tools, and pre-existing materials. You grant permission for me to display completed public work in my portfolio and promotional materials unless confidentiality is agreed in writing.

07 Cancellation

Either party may end a project by written notice. You remain responsible for completed work, committed costs, and time reserved through the cancellation date. I may pause or end work for non-payment, abusive conduct, unlawful requests, or a material breach of the agreement.

08 Warranties and liability

I will provide services with reasonable care and skill, but I cannot guarantee specific business, traffic, ranking, revenue, or conversion results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability relating to a project will not exceed the amount you paid for that project, and I will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.

09 General

These terms, together with the written project agreement, form the entire agreement for the services. If a project agreement conflicts with these terms, the project agreement controls. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. These terms may be updated for future projects by publishing a revised effective date.
